LBCC Spring 2019

Hello Everybody!!

I applied to LBCC's ADN program this past week and would like to connect with other students that also turned in their application for the upcoming spring term. I do not really know the selection process for the program, but my stats are listed below.

My stats:

Science GPA: 4.0

Overall GPA: 4.0

I know you also mentioned you were placed as alernate and the next time after denied? Have you tried asking them why? What are your grades if you don't mind me asking? I'm feeling super discourage don't know if I should keep trying.

Hi ericka I've seen you on several past forums! Did you end up getting in ? I'm really starting to wonder how many times we have to apply before being accepted :/

I haven't received a letter yet! I felt very confident yesterday but not so much today lol. This is my 4th time applying

This was my 3rd and nothing. Are you going to continue to apply ? I wonder if we actually get in at some point if we keep applying. Or if it's a lost cause after a couple times of being denied.

I'm going to keep applying!! I am also working in the healthcare field so that my points are higher at other schools, too. Apply everywhere!! You will get in somewhere eventually. I am waiting on letters from Santa Ana and Saddleback also. Good luck!!

Congrats to you both!!!! How exciting!!!

I just ran to check the mailbox and I got in!!!!!!!

Did you have most of your GE's done?

Yup, I am just finishing up history, nutrition, and political science this semester.

Not sure if you are talking to me lol but I don't have such great grades so it would make sense. I have around a 3.1 or 3.2 overall gpa and a 3.45 science gpa. They told me I would probably get in on my third attempt, since I already took all recommended courses as well, but that wasn't the case. I think this will be my last time applying, I'm trying my best not to feel discouraged but if I don't receive anything tomorrow I know the denial letter will arrive on Monday.

Hey "Erl09" yes I was replying to your post I don't think your grades are the cause I just think we haven't gotten lucky. I know a couple girls who have gotten in even with a C in their pre reqs. If you have time please email me my email is [email protected] maybe we can keep in touch hopefully we get in together next time.

I just got my acceptance letter:) this was my 2nd time applying. Had a 4.0 in my sciences. Good luck to everyone else!

Congrats !! Where are you located did you get it today or yesterday ?
