LBCC Spring 2019

Hello Everybody!!

I applied to LBCC's ADN program this past week and would like to connect with other students that also turned in their application for the upcoming spring term. I do not really know the selection process for the program, but my stats are listed below.

My stats:

Science GPA: 4.0

Overall GPA: 4.0

Do you guys think that we are going to get our letters in this upcoming week?

I think by next weekend we should be hearing back.

Hopefully we do, because the wait is killing me right now.

I guess people have been calling the nursing department about the letters, they sent out an email this morning saying they should all be mailed by Wednesday, October 10. Good luck to us all!

Hopefully they stick to their word and good luck to everybody!!!!

I notice that they usually give the latest day so everybody can get them. Other semesters (sadly I've had to apply a lot of times, I'm sorta becoming an expert at this) the accepted and waitlisted students receive the letters first, a few days later the rejected students receive theirs.

Do you happen to know what's the most someone has applied until they are in?

I'm not sure, I know a girl that gave up after her 5th or 6th attempt. This is my fourth time applying, I was waitlisted the second time I applied and denied on my third attempt.

The counselor told me the most would be 3 years.

Does that mean that after 3 years, which would be 6 application cycles, you are automatically allowed into the program?

When I went in to drop my application, I mentioned that I had a friend who has applied 4 times and did not get in. The counselor told me the most it would be is mostly 3 years, but not guaranteed.
