U.S.A. California

Just wanted to start a thread for anyone who has applied to lbcc for fall 2014/spring 2015 admissions! Applications were due 3/14 - does anyone know when letters will be sent out?

I just received my provisional acceptance letter yesterday! Really excited!

Tho, I still don't know how they decide which students start in fall and which start in spring...

Good luck everyone!

I just received an email from LBCC notifying me of my alternate position. This is my second alternate letter. Kind of a bummer, but a little better than a rejection. Good luck to those that got in!!!

@Jules2113 Good luck!!

Tip for the TEAS V...if you can, in addition to getting the ATI study guide, take both ATI practice tests. Both practices tests are more difficult than the actual TEAS V and are great preparation tools.

Thanks for the tip. I have the book. I will take the practice tests.

I was accepted as well, Im not sure if I will be accepting or not, I was accepted to GWC and am an alternate for CSULB.. so my spot for lbcc may open up.. As for the TEAS, get the manual, and use your past physio, micro and chem notes to help you and make sure you really go into more depth than what it says in the book. Do the practice exams and the online ones as well. Best of luck with the TEAS! I've taken mine and it wasn't that bad! But you will need a minimum of 1 month if you want to do well!
