Anyone else accept LAVC's offer? Picked up my packet today.:yeah:

I was accepted into the LAVC RN program for spring 2012. Still waiting to hear back from my first choice school. Did you need to sign a commitment when you picked up your packet?

Yes they make you sign a commitment. Honestly I know I am not getting into my first choice for Spring, which was County because I didnt have speech or history when I applied so I only had 80 points. I applied to PCC and GCC also but Valley is so much closer. I know its not the best rated program but at this point I think any program is what you put into it. I already work as a CNA/HHA and know that getting a job after nursing school wont be a problem for me because I can transition from CNA to an RN at my current job.

socalcrystal, It's great you are a CNA. It will be easy for you to get a job as an RN. I will see you at the orientation on Monday, Dec. 9th.

Have you gotten all your stuff done?
