LATTC Spring and Fall 2020

Yeah I guess might as well wait right? and just keep saving money. I emailed her last week and haven’t heard anything, usually I’ll go in every semester to talk to her but since this whole thing I’m sure they’re not even there. They extended the quarantine until April 30th?

@sambelike I totally understand, I went in in January to check my waitlist position and angel told me that I would be in most likely in for fall 2020. Since then I was following the forum and people that applied in July, august, and sept of 2018 weren't even being called so that kinda gave me an estimate since I applied in Nov of 2018.

While waiting I was gonna be getting my CNA certification but my class got cancelled so now I'm in the struggle of waiting or trying to get my money back since LAUSD cancelled classes until may!

@Gg8 yeah last I went was August and she told me it would be fall 2020.. But when I first went another lady told me 2022?? so I kept going to the office every semester just for my sanity. I think each semester varies too depending how many people apply and wait or decide to go somewhere else like west coast. I kinda wish they just sent an updated number and I know she hates getting emails of where we are but not hearing anything sucks ?

So I texted a girl already in the program and so far their semester has NOT been canceled. So far that’s good for us because it won’t delay a semester for us to get in. I told her to keep me posted. I also sent an email to the nursing director for an update

@sambelikeStill no reply from anyone. Lattc is really bad at answering emails, its a little annoying. I really hope they reach out to us I just need to know so I don't kick myself over it until the end of the year.

@Carlos_pichardo oh man, I really hope the nursing director gives you some type of info.

Is anyone else still applying to other schools meanwhile you wait?

I applied in October 2018 and I honestly thought I would start Fall 2020 but from seeing all this it don’t look like it. I been waiting so long and the other schools I applied to I didn’t get accepted. That was back in 2018 and even if I tried to apply while waiting I have to retake some classes and I’m not doing that. So it looks like I have no choice but to keep working,save money and prepare myself for Spring 2021 maybe! IDK! ?

@Pitavf I've been in the same position for almost two years. I finished my last prerequisite in Spring 2018 and I was so nervous to take my TEAS so I waited until fall to take it when I could have taken it in the Summer instead. I've been applying to different schools as well but since I have no experience and no good TEAS score I'm not competitive for schools with point system. I was hoping to do CNA for a bit before the program but now that feels like not an option cause if by a miracle I get into another program during fall 2020 I will take that instead.

@Gg8 yeah she’s only replied once when there was a miscommunication about my application but that was it. She’s never replied with an update about my spot. If anything fall semester doesn’t start until August so we have a good gap before we hear back. I know LA has been more restrictive with the lockdown so let’s just wait and keep each other updated

Still no response from anyone in lattc. I was thinking about calling but IDK if they would even answer since they're not in the office.

Hi Alicee14 , I remember you posting a comment that you might be starting in FALL 2020. my question to you is because of this COVID pandemia, were you told anthing about being delayed or a letter email,..etc if I'm not mistaken your about to hit you 2 yr wait mark this year. thank you any info . is appreciated.
