I have made it to the last week of school. It has been such a long year, I am looking forward to my Summer break with my own children and husband. We are planning a family camping trip and we will do some fishing. The peace and quiet of nature is just what I need.
The end of the year is a bit bittersweet for me this. The CSN I work under is retiring. I am happy for her. She really has earned it (especially after this year). She is the reason the district created my position and the reason I was chosen for this job, she was insistent and pushed for me to be hired. We have such a good relationship, we will of course keep in touch, but I will miss her terribly. I have not yet met the new nurse, I will meet her later this month after school is out. I try very hard to get along with everyone I work with, and I tend to just roll with it pretty well, so I know I will be OK. That being said, I'm still very nervous about what next year will hold.
I hope everyone (still) here has a great Summer, take some time to decompress from the wild ride that was the 2020-2021 school year. Hopefully we'll all be back refreshed and ready to rumble next year.

You did it @Glitternurse! It is so crazy to look back now and think about August. I feel like we can all tackle anything thrown at us after this chaotic year.
