LAHC Fall 2010

I got a notification email on Monday 5/17 saying come take the test. This was my second try, my number did not get pulled last Spring as I had hoped it would. Hang in there and good luck :)

ahh... I got picked to take the teas, so did my wife... Do you know what version of the TEAS they are going to use ? I called numerous times and they seem to have no clue which version they are going to use.... and the TEST is tomorrow....

I have no idea about version, sorry I took the practice last year and got an 87 so I am not too worried about it. I already took the TEAS @ Glendale Community College and scored 88% (Version 4). The reason I ask is because I took the Version 4 test not Version 5.... I think I might need to retake the TEAS test again if they are administering the test as Version 5. I heard version 5 was a LOT harder and I can back that up with the practice assessments I took for version 5.

Today they administered Version 4 and only 10 people showed up to take it. Number of class openings is 48. I got an 89.8 and am glad to be done with it. Passing is still 67. Good luck to you and your wife, I am sure you'll do great :)

first off, grats on passing the TEAS! now the waiting process begins! let me know asap if you hear back from LAHC about your admission!

Wanted to wish your wife good luck tomorrow on the TEAS and the same to you if you were going to take it again. I'm really curious to know how many people show up tomorrow, can you guys post the final headcount if you get a chance? I am so anxious to know when they are going to notify who gets into the Fall class. I guess it could be as early as tomorrow afternoon...lets all cross our fingers and hope for the best. Maybe the 3 of us will end up classmates, I sure hope so! Good luck :)

Yeah for sure, I'll make sure to get a headcount. I noticed that on lahc's Twitter, it states that the admission status were already sent out which I found weird.

I noticed that also. I called but got a student receptionist who was unsure as to it's meaning. She advised I call back and speak to Ms. Thompson, but I didn't end up doing that. I figured perhaps they are referring to the, "Sorry, your number was not selected this time for the TEAS, please re-up your application for next semester w/ attached form." letter that goes out to those not invited. I remember that last semester it did not come until some time after the TEAS invitations went out. Drove me nuts that both did not go out at same time because i was left wondering. Anyway, hopefully that is all that meant...that Twitter stuff can be so cryptic lol!

It's the night before the test and I just got an email stating they are "changing" rooms for the TEAS test. It was supposed to be administered in 2 rooms, but they changed it to 1 room. I'm assuming that there won't be a lot of people taking the teas test tomorrow morning. (lets hope)

There were problems with the new computers and logging in last week. We started out in room 124 and had adjacent 126 available also, but people were unable to login, network apparently is a bit screwy on new pcs. We spent close to an hour trying to get 10 people all set to go but eventually the coordinator said screw this, we are moving to a lab w/ old pcs. After that all went smoothly. Probably a good thing you guys will not be in original room! The lab we ended up in was pretty big though so I guess we'll see how many it holds tomorrow. Again, good luck!

the email said, "The room has been changed for the TEAS test scheduled tomorrow. Instead of NEAH 124 & 126 the test will be held in the Technology building room 210."

Is that the room where you took the test Tech building room 210?
