Lab coat?

Any NP students out there that have had to purchase a white lab coat? So far, my clinical instructors have cared less but I'm thinking I still may need one as I have a few more to go. My questions are...which length did you buy, where did you get it and are you happy with the quality.

Thanks for any info you can provide!

I got a mid-length one (above knee- but longer than the typical short medical student one). I bought mine locally. The brand is Barco and I've liked it! (Though I still feel like an imposter when wearing it!)

Thank you! Ill check it out

Does every np school require students to wear one for their clinicals? I will be attending Adelphi's ANP program.

No- I think every school varies on this. And even then- it depends on where your clinicals are. I would ask your program director if you should buy one. (Some schools make you buy theirs- or at least their patch to put on it.)

trachyguy, can I email you? I have some questions about Walden FNP
