Kinda confused on what to do!!!!!

Published

Hey I was wondering what my best option would be for picking which route to go when I plan to start nursing school!!!!! I ultimately want my Bachelors degree since that is what most hospitals want by 2020!! But I have my first half of Bachelors degree in the Arts and Sciences Phase almost done but the cost is way too high for me to go straight for my bachelors!! The associates degree program is cheaper, but even more competitive to get into. Also, if a hospital is a rural town with no magnet status are they more likely to hire ADN RN's?? Thanks and I appreciate the feedback:)

Specializes in NICU.

An accelerated BSN should be around the same cost (and time) as an ASN since you have a majority of your foundational credits from your first degree. Both are 4 semesters.

Specializes in Leadership, Psych, HomeCare, Amb. Care.

Google approved BSN programs in your state.Since you're halfway there, there may be others that are affordable.
