Kaplan..is it worth it?.

YES! It's very worth it. Every dime. I feel by taking Kaplan it helped me break down the questions. I passed NCLEX recently on my first attempt. YAHOO!!!!!

Yup- do Kaplan! I don't know the exact percentage, but they have over a 90 percent pass rate first time for those who take it. GOOD LUCK! :nurse:

-hi epona, iM just wonderin coz i goT my oNline review for kaplan coz i enrolled my self in iT, then i read the book also and before the first day of the class they are requiring you to watch or listen to the video about the orientation, strategy and stuff like that, how come i already finished listening to the orientation and i can't go on with the strategy?..it doesn't wanna play..is it really like that?..iM sorry Im just confused...tnx!

me i just started this afternoon. i cant play some of the videos. so i tried on the pc and it works. so i decided to install a player macromedia or real one and it all play. i dont noticed the time i listed to videos . i llove it rather the reading. i hope it really help in my exam . i want to finish this online. i just enrolled and my sched. for exam is on sept 4. i hope we pass

o i see, buT the first video i played did work.. i just started following the simple steps..im done with my QT1 and i goT 59%, o mY god..that was horriBLE, and i just finished listening to the orientation but as i said i tried to play the strategy but i think it's not working...im so confused, but the orientation video works how come the others are not???....

i dont know too. what is your media player? it happened to me too. but when i tried in our home pc it works. so i tried to install real one player to my laptop and thank God it works. bec. i cant install the free macromedia flsh given in the system requirements in tha kaplan website.

YES! But Kaplan is what you make of it. Make sure to get through the entire q bank and all of the question trainers (this can be challenging because you have to review all the rationales).

I've done the online course and I didn't think it was very thorough(content). If it were up to me, I would buy the Saunder's comprehension book , read that(or do the questions at the end and if u get 75% or more move on), do the CD(100 per day)...read all rationales and if you understand all of what you read and the questions, there is a good chance of passing(I've been reading on here for a while and MANY passed doing that) only spending 50 bucks. :nurse:

my bad i already ordered it..and im starting the test, im done with the QT12 and 3 and i got like 1 and 2 59% and the 3 is 51%..its horrible!!!..

Don't let those scores scare you too too much(if at all), kaplan questions are WAY harder than nclex. :twocents:

-hi guys, just want to know that if kaplan review center is worth it?..to all the of you guys who tried it and passed after taking it?..coz $499 is alot of money..is it really worth it?..pls share with me your advice..

Before taking my nclex exam i could not afford to take a review class. I purchased kaplan on-line Q-bank for $99 for 6 months and it was worth every dime. Its actually a lot harder than the actual nclex exam itself. And i had a few similar questions from kaplan on my boards. I passed at 85 first attempt.:wink2:
