Those of you who passed, would you say Nclex or Kaplan is harder and what is it like being in the moment lol?

Sorry, no helpful info here. Just wanted to say "good question." I was wondering the same thing.

I recommend kaplan and please donot get in the exam expecting to see questions easier than what u did on kaplan. Kaplan is also good because their computer interface is almost identical to the nclex one, it really lowers your anxiety!◀◀◀

I didn't take the Kaplan course but I did use the Kaplan book and the app (strongly recommend the app). I just took the NCLEX on Monday and passed! I wouldn't say the NCLEX questions were easier than the Kaplan questions, however completing the Kaplan practice questions made the NCLEX questions easier. After my screen shut off at question 75 I didn't leave feeling like I failed and I believe using those practice questions greatly contributed to my ability to pass.

I would say in comparison to some Kaplan questions (I completed all qtrainers and qbank) my exam was more basic information. Ex: hypertension, diabetes, everything I had seen previously. But Nclex is weird in that I still was not 100% on any question. Kaplan is a great review though. Questions are similar, screen is similar, and you are provided with a review book that is sufficient if you already have a good content base from school. I also passed in 75.

I have to say that Kaplan really prepared me for NCLEX. I was so nervous about it because I didn't know how nclex was worded but after I saw the first question, I was like, yes, I can do this. Kaplan and NCLEX have the same format, NCLEX is more straightforward, they give you the facts and try not to confuse you. Also what I learned from kaplan, like the decision tree helped me on my boards. So I wouldn't say that either is harder because you can't compare them but just do what kaplan tells you to do and you'll do great.
FYI I did all of kaplan, all content videos, qbank, q trainers, and sample tests. I took it on the 17th of June and passed with 77 questions. I took it in California.
