Hello, HOTGAL73,

I think a bunch of people have already given you info on this, on a few different threads, right?

Listen to them :)

The upshot is, the tests get harder as they progress through the series. You might very well find you have the SAME score until the end; in actuality, you HAVE improved. The test itself got harder, that's all.

Regardless, scores in the low sixties, even low fifties have seen people passing the NCLEX without too much difficulty. By that, I mean 75-100 questions, many on the low side of that range.

Kaplan tells you to strive for a minimum of 65%, but I REALLY think that has more to do with protecting their guarantee (money) than anything else. If someone fails after having taken the course, *BUT* they did not attain 65% or better as recommended, they can always say "well, you weren't ready to test and that's NOT our fault".

But see, you will be. Your scores place you firmly in the "ready" range according to a large population on this board :)

Relax. You're doing fine.

I agree with the previous poster. I got the same on Q5-60 and on Q6/7 I got 66 on both. Go back to analysis and use the course book to strengthen where you are weak. You will find that you will do better on the next ones. Remember to look at your rationales and really understand them.

I am in the process of going back over Kaplan as well as doing Lippincott and Saunder.

By the way thanks NrsRWe. That website is great. I am gaining more content and knowledge and the questions are a little harder than Saunders.

You're welcome :) I assume you mean the free Lippincott's site?
