kaplan questions

i still have 10 days before my test... im now doing kaplan... is it advisable to repeat taking the question trainers over and over again.... example when i took the qt 1 the 1st time around i got a 54... after reviewing the rationale i got a 90 plus because obviously it is still fresh on my mind... after a week i tried it again and igot an 87... am i doing the right thing? thanks... iam desperate to pass... thanks

did you pay for the $500 package?

from kaplan...all i paid for was the qbanks and i went over that about 2-3x...especially looking at every single rationale

it was 1,200 of the most helpful questions!!!

i passed with 75

i did the qbanks 2 weeks before my exam

I did redo the qtrainers (except for #7) but I made sure I waited at least 1-2 weeks after the first time I did them, otherwise I felt like it was a waste of time. I would only redo the questions if you are done everything else- like if you finished all of qbank and all of the question trainers. Good luck to you and trust me- you'll do great!

one more thing...

it would be great if u keep the saunders book in handy for content purposes

nclex had some recall questions that you cannot get from qbanks

on top of doing qbanks, i went through all the chapters i felt uncomfortable about like peds, maternity and medsurg bcoz u dont know if it'll show up on nclex

when i took it, thank goodness i had like one maternity and one peds

but a whole lotta medsurg...dont be surprised if you see tracheostomy or dialysis there..but make sure u understand the whole process which will be detailed in saunders.
