Kaplan course successful?

I am taking Kaplan next week and I've heard good things about the course. Before I can take boards, I have to take a HESI exam which is one of the reasons why I'm taking the Kaplan course. Has anyone who has taken HESI and Kaplan had improved scores after taking Kaplan? Do you also happen to know what the average increase of scores is on HESI after taking Kaplan? Any information you can provide is helpful. Thanks!

We used Kaplan all the way through LPN school. I hated every single exam! However, Kaplan does a wonderful job of predicting how well you will do on NCLEX. Those of us who scored well on Kaplans Prep Exam, did well on NCLEX, those of us who didn't, well - didn't do so well on NCLEX. Kaplan is a wonderful tool. It gave me the confidence I needed to walk into NCLEX and rock it out. I know you are talking HESI here, I guess that's an exit exam? Sorry you have to go through that! HESI entrance exams are a breeze. If you get the chance, do take a Kaplan course, you will be amazed at all the ways Kaplan helps you out. I really dreaded them through school, but nothing prepped me better than having those dreaded Kaplans!

Thank you NurseKellyKMo. That helps a lot. HESI is an exit exam. We've taken them throughout school as a prep for NCLEX (in a way). I am taking Kaplan next week so I'm looking forward to learning what they have to offer. Glad to know that it does help with NCLEX.
