Please do everyone a favor and don't become a nurse if you don't deal well with diversity. Thanks in advance..

What does nursing have to do with that? You could say the same about every job in the world.

Perhaps there's something more you'd like to say?
There is a lot I can say perhaps I hit a button when I posted this message. You guys are taking this way too personal.
Well with nursing it's different you will have to physically touch other people and deal with others on a daily basis. It just seems kind of crazy to me to see people (and I mean all kinds of people) putting up racist and offensive statuses on Facebook yet says they want to be a nurse.

for me, I do feel there are two sides to this coin. what i mean is that on one side, everyplace my be similar, however, the level of personal interaction. Nurses need to carry the 'passion' for people as a whole whether they be white, black, stubborn, easy going, etc. A people person is someone who can handle be involved with both happy and not so happy people....but then again this is just my opinion....
