I am new to the board, I am an LPN and working on my RN through excelsior. I am about to register for NC 1 and would appreciate any help or suggestions for taking the excelsior exams.

In the same boat as you haven't registered yet for EC but really considering. Tell me what do u think about EC so far.....what is the process for signing up and any other helpful info u might have. Private Message welcomed.

I highly recommend the practice tests from Excelsior. You can register for the practice tests once you've paid for the exam itself. The practice tests are $60, but you get two tests -- called "Form A" and "Form B." Each has 100 questions, and at the end it'll give you the rationale for the correct and incorrect answers. I've found them to be very helpful!
