Just curious...:/

Well as I mentioned in a previous post,I passed my cert test and was waiting on my background check for a job, that is now complete and I'm on to my physical. Can any one please tell me what does the physical entail? I know drug screen and tb test but what else? I'm not worried about passing I'm good in all aspects just curious and was wondering what to expect to some extent. Thanks

It depends on where you're going to be working.

I've had some jobs that just did vitals. My PRN job now requires everyone working in direct patient care to go to the outpatient rehab center and pass a series of physical tests. I had to fast walk laps around the center, be able to push 170 pounds, pull 70 pounds towards me, and lift a box that was 35 pounds from a high shelf to a low shelf and back with perfect posture in addition to showing I was flexible, all with a heart monitor on showing that my heart rate didn't get out of range while I was doing any of it. It was silly.

Generally speaking, if they're crazy like my PRN job is and have ridiculous expectations, they're going to let you know beforehand.
