Hi everyone. I am set to graduate with my ADN in July. I do plan on going for my BSN after that, as I know that wil help me in the job searching process.
I currently work for a large Magnet hospital in an ICU, & I know that this hospital will not hire me upon graduation. I love my job & I love where I work; I am a nursing unit clerk (AKA: secretary with minimal patient care) but I get paid very well for what I do & I have amazing benefits.
My question is: should I stay where I am until I graduate, or should I get a job at a facility or hospital that *may* hire me after I graduate? I am thinking the latter, but I know that what the techs get paid around here is about $4-5/hr less than what I am making now...
& I am poor as it is
Does anyone have any words of wisdom??
