ok so im a new grad vn and i got offered a position in a convelesant home in Ca the job is pretty much mine and i dont know how much an average salary for this type of work would be i tried looking it up but that was not very much help. someone please help. she said my job description was to pretty much be the director of nursing assitant along with infection control, scheduling, making rounds, attending in services, data entry and thats all i can remember on the top of my head... please help me out cause i dont want to be taken advantage of

Well, if they hired a new grad to be the ADON, I don't think the pay will be high. Wonder how you can do that job when you are not an RN.

I've heard of LPN/LVN being DON's and ADONs. It's not very common but I've seen it. I've never heard of a new grad getting a job like that. I can only imagine how much they'll pay you. Good Luck with that and Happy Nursing..:nurse:

well the reason i got offered the job was because i have a great deal of computer history me being an lvn was just the kicker so i just wanted to know what salary range i would be looking at since most of my work would be administrative thanks
