Job Interview!

Soooo I have been searching high & low for a nursing care tech position in my area. Starting in May I have put in AT LEAST 50 applications for Unit Secretary, NCT, OR Tech, ER Tech...anything that I felt qualified for based on my education. Well, I waited and heard NOTHING so I had to look elsewhere because I had to be able to pay my bills this summer. I ended up accepting a full-time nanny job near my home caring for 2 girls. Then all of the sudden I recieved a phone call yesterday for a job interview! I am beyond excited! It is for the children's hospital which was my top choice. It is an on-call position which requires me to work a minimum of 16 hours of month but I can choose to work 40 hours a week if I want! Which is perfect for during school. I have been frantically running around trying to get my references and interview clothes and prepare myself. I really hope I get it! Just wanted to share my good news with everyone :D

I hope you get it too. It's rough out there. Let us know what happens.

Congratulations!

Well I got it..but I didn't. haha

The orientation dates were going to be mandatory and would interfere with my class schedule so I have to put off getting the job until January so I can do the orientation over my Christmas break. It was everything I wanted but at the same time it is a blessing because I interviewed for a job on an OB floor and will be taking my OB lecture and clincals this upcoming semester so I will feel more prepared when I actually begin the job. Thanks for the well wishes :)
