job application question

I worked on one unit at a hospital for 2.5 months, then I transferred to another unit at the same hospital, where I've been working for 5 months. On my resume I make the distinction between the units. On an online job application can I say I worked as an RN for 7.5 months at X hospital? It asks for position and the position remained the same.

    I would say yes because you did not leave the hospital. Like you said, just be clear when asked about the different departments.
