ivy tech ASN program

Hello! I've only taken math118 ivy101 psych101 and PTS101

I got a C, A, B, A in that order with those classes then decided to switch to nursing am I already screwed because of those grades?!

not sure what PTS101 is..never seen that before...and math 118 is not a class that will get you into the nursing program at ivy tech.. It used to be math 118 but not anymore..so you wasted your time taking it...math 118 will get you into the PN program...you will need math 136 and if you are getting a C in math 118 you better buckle down hard because I just finished math 136 and it is very very hard! It is pre-cal and trig.... The only weighted classes they look at are psych 101, aphy101 and 102, and eng comp.. and you have to have math 136 completed prior to starting the program but it is not weighted for selection. Not sure why no one has commented back to you before this....

You can also choose to take math 135 - Finite Math. Either one is acceptable for the ASN program at Ivy Tech. Both classes are hard, you really have to pay attention, study well, and use critical thinking skills (this last part is especially true for 135).

True. Math 135 is acceptable too. I dont know why I chose 136..lucky pick I guess but it was very hard and I am good at math! Glad its over!
