IV Insertion classes in NYC?????

Does anyone know of an IV insertion class/seminar (preferably 1 day) in the NYC area? I would be willing to travel a few hours to get to it.

There is an iv insertion class in stratford,CT. The class starts Feb.21st. This class is accredited by the ANA.

I was looking at this website for their one day phlebotomy class for myself and saw they also offer one day iv certification, medtexx.com. I think Adelphi offers the class as well.

Interesting............I am in upstate NY and never heard of a class outside the hospitals themselves. Generally you have to get certified by the hospital you work for....but I suppose if you get there and are ahead of the game it couldn't hurt!

Thats awesome what you mention about BMCC IV class. Do they also have a ACLS class at BMCC?

There is an IV insertion course in Brooklyn. The place is called B&G Nurses Registry. Phone number- 718-692-2124. Press 4 for the education department. Hope this helps.

There is an IV insertion class in Brooklyn. The location is Medical Staffing Network, Inc. Phone number 718-692-2121 either ask for the education dept or press 4. They also offer ACLS, PALS and NYS Infection Control. I hope this helps.
