IV antihistamine.

If blood transfusion causes adverse reactions, some medications such as antihistamine would be given as per the doctor's order.

My patients didn't have adverse reactions. I don't have the opportunities to practice IV antihistamine associated with blood transfusion.

In Australian Injectable Drugs Handbook, there are some IV antihistamine medications. I know some oral medications such as Benadryl and a few IV antihistmine medications.

What IV antihistmaines are commonly used for adverse reactions from blood transfusion in Australia?

There is a typo in the original post.

"Adverse reaction" would be typed as "allergic reaction".

A patient can have an adverse reaction without being allergic to things
