Hi everyone,
How long does it take for an LPN going full time to get their BSN w/ ISU?

I don't know if you have been reading any of these threads, but I have been having the same kinds of questions. I actually just got off the phone with ISU and spoke with a representative. She was extremely informative. The bottom line as to how long it will take you depends mainly on what kind of student youare, and how many classes you still have to take. Give her a call and let me know how it goes Good Luck! I am seriously considering signing up for this summer.

I am doing it part time and giving my self 5 yrs... I know that is a long time, but i have to work full time and have all pre rec's to get done. Ther ear 10 courses( test outs or completed at cc) that need to be complete before you can apply phase I, then 4 classes (csm) for phase II, Then phase III are the nursing classes with clinicals. There are 8 other courses that need to be after the initial 10. When I get home if you would like i will PM you with the list they gave me. I do not know if they are just for CA tho.
They told me 14 courses, the 4 csm's, etc. yeah, abouth the same as you.
Do you have any already done? I have the list at home, I am at work now.I will list them later tonight.
no, this was a new "venture" for me to look into.

NURS 330
then I have listed 11 other nursing courses and PE 101 and ITE 200 intro to women's studies.
If I am missing something or added something please someone correct me, all my info has in little print that it is for CALIFORNIA residents only.
A couple of the CSMs can be worked on while you are in phase 3. N106 is a pre-req for Nursing in Mental Illness and N224 (as well as pathophysiology) is a pre-req for Nursing Care of Adults II but the other two can be taken whenever. Statistics and Pathophysiology are pre-reqs for several of the nursing courses so keep that in mind too.
