Ist week almost over

My first week is almost over. The first couple days was expection things we need to do and what is expected of us during the program and during clinicals which will start after mid term. There was a lot of paper work to be filled out. Drug screen, background check etc. We also went into to lab to do our first skills practice ( vital signs) and will be having check off next wk. Drug calculation will be 2 day a wk. On the 1st day we had a pre test on basic maths. Our instructor in fundemantals told us that whatever skills we had prior to coming in to leave them at the door because when you are in the field prior to as a MA or CNA we normally pick up bad habits. I thought was a very good advise. Got to go study now.:typing:yawn:

You have drug cal 2 days along with Fundementals lecture and lab and clinical skills 3 days a week. Drug calculation you need to work at it. If you have probs go to the lab for help, The tutor is great. Very good program if you work very hard. Don't take other students opinion on the program. Go in with an open mind. Work hard you can do it.

Thank you SO much!
