Is it worth it in my situation?

Hello all. I'm currently in the very beginning phase of getting ready for nursing school. I have to take my prerequisites A+P I and II, micro. chem. and organic chem. I've never worked in a hospital setting before other than volunteering in the ER for 1 year when I was in college the first time (already have a B.A. now trying to get B.S.N.). So, what kind of job should I or could I get while taking my prerequisites. Will that help when applying to a program?

I think that it would be benifical if you could go full time and knock those pre-req's out in a year. I don't think that any particular job will help with nursing school. If your school is based on points then you need to work several years before it would make a difference. Volunteering back in a hospital might give you more points.

Good Luck!

Thanks! That's what I was thinking. Focus on the getting the prerequisites out of the way ASAP.
