I'm new to travel nursing and I'm considering taking my first assignment in Houston, TX. I have 4 years of outpatient oncology experience and this would be in a clinic setting. Does this seem reasonable?
$21/hour (40 hours/wk) - taxed
$35/day M&I ($245/wk) - non-taxed
I'm debating whether or not to take their housing or take the stipend of $1550/month (paid biweekly). I'm not sure I want a roommate though!
This seems low to me, but this is my first travel assignment and it's in a clinic vs. inpatient. I would also have to pay for parking at the hospital, which isn't cheap ($200? per month). I am considering flying and just using public transportation and may rent a car occasionally.
Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

It is only reasonable if you think it is. How does it compare to other offers you have received for Houston? If you haven't shopped around, there is no way we can tell you either if the pay is suitable for a first time clinic traveler with your level of experience in your specialty. I would expect clinic pay to be perhaps $5 an hour less than acute care though.
If you have received other offers, use the Travelers Calculator at PanTravelers to compare them on a level playing field - they can be difficult otherwise to compare directly.
Not sure I understand your comment about a roommate. Is your agency insisting? If you take the stipend, you can get any kind of housing you want.
