Is it possible that DE LPN program is equal to the ASN programs in TN?

So here's the thing..... I was originally licensed as an LPN in DE state. Moved to TN, transferred my license over to TN. I recently started school at a local university to begin working on my BSN. I thought I had completely skipped over my ASN completely. I went to my advisement and was told I had an ASN and didn't need to be there. I told them that I didn't. I got home and had received a phone call related to the ASN that I had. I got online and the university has me as obtaining my ASN the same time I completed my program for LPN. Is it possible that DE LPN program is equal to the ASN programs in TN? And if so does that make me eligible to test for RN? I can't get anyone at the university to give a straight answer. Thanks.

Definitely gotta be some kind of a mess up, otherwise I'm moving over there to turn my LPN to an ASN pronto!!
