Is this normal??

Hey everyone,

I just got my schedule for next year, and it was really not what I was expecting! Here goes: Sunday 9-5, Monday 9-7, Tuesday 7:30-5:30, Wednesday 9-7, Thursday 9-2, Friday and Saturday off. This is for the first year of a three year BSN program. Does it even sound doable?

Your schedule sounds like a nightmare!

Mine is 2 hour classes 2 days a week, a 12 hour clinical once a week, and a 7 hour class once a week (lecture and lab).

I finished my pre-reqs so my schedule is nursing classes only.

That doesn't look so awful.

You're in a full-time, university program that includes significant lab time... that's pretty much what you get.

It's *not* unique to nursing at all... any program with lab time chews up clock hours in a hurry.
