Is the NCLEX the same everywhere?

I will be attending Seattle University for nursing school but I intend to go back to Texas after graduation and working there. My only worry is that the NCLEX is not the same in Texas as in Washington. I know I have to take the test in Texas I just want to know that I am prepared for it as I will be studying for it in Washington.

The NCLEX is the same everywhere in the United States, you can actually take the test wherever you want so long as you apply to the correct Board of Nursing, for example I am living out the remainder of the summer in Massechusettes but will be starting a job in Washington, DC at the end of August...I am not going to take a trip down there specifically to take the test, I applied to the DC BON, will sign up for a test in Boston and my results will be sent to the DC BON

Hope that helps :-)

Great! Thank you so much. That makes me feel better that I can take the tests at the same time as my classmates.

The NCLEX is a national exam on the same material using the same test bank and procedures. It is even given at overseas locations and is the same. So don't worry about that.
