Is it a long wait for Seminole CC nursing program?

I met someone that is in their last yr at SCC and she said she got right in after prereqs.. I wanted to know is that the norm for Seminole CC?

I am taking pre-reqs at SCC and they do not have a waiting list. They require that you have a min GPA of 3.5 and completed all of the pre-reqs. They have 2 programs, evening/weekends which start every Jan and the Day program that starts in September/October, not sure which month. Both programs have 100 seats available. If you don't get accepted you have to submit your application again the next year.

When I was registering I saw this guy dressed in scrubbs and I asked him if he had a hard time getting in the program and he said no, he got in right away, but he did emphasize to keep my GPA as high as possible.

Are you taking pre-reqs or are you ready to apply for the nuring program? I start my first pre-req class on Tuesday, English 101, Yeahh!!! I am soo excited and anxious to get them over with. I hope to get in the Nursing program for January 2010.:yeah:

I have most of the prereqs but for the LPN program I am only missing one prereq.. so I may go that route and then do LPN to RN online

I am happy for you! I am sure u will do fine :)

I thought SCC GPA requirement for the program was 2.5?
