Is she jelousy or what

:confused:here is the situation, i went to a community college and got all my pre-reqs. i waited for one year and this year i received 3 alternates letter because my gpa is 3.4 and 2a's and a b in my science classes, so i decided to go for private university to do my bsn because waiting was killing me and i was doubting if i will be called or not.ok they called me from two schools two wks after i started my private school and i told them that i am already in another program. i know private uni. are expensive but it worth it in the long run, plus i want short cuts huh? because i am tired of school. my friend is going to start her program in august because she waited, she told me that i decided to go for a private school so i must give her a job when i start working why?because i am doing bsn and she is doing asn. she is telling me a lot of things about going for a private but i told her that i am aware of everything and i already made my choice.what kind of things? she doesn't understand me and my situation. i don't even regret what i am doing and i am happy.

Next time she says something, just tell her its not up for discussion. Your life, your decision, no need to discuss it. End of story.

Hey there! I feel your pain. I got waitlisted into never neverland for my school of choice ( there is only 1 community college in 4 counties) and I decided to apply to a private college about an hour away. My reason was similar to yours and as an informed adult I know of the good, bad, and the ugly of going to a private vs a CC. So my friend who got accepted into the program insists on trying to talk me out of it to the point of ugliness. With as hard as it is to get into this CC program and the lack of competition, college wise, i know i am not going to get into the CC program this yr but she insists on bad mouthing my decision that we don't talk. It is your decision and it is your $$. I would just tell her that the discussion is not up for debate and move on. Take care :)

Thank you for your responses. Next time when she calls me, I am going to tell her that we should talk about other things not to involve school discussions. I am seek and tired of her comments.

My advice is to focus on school if you want to make it through you have to be able to put personal issues aside. Just don't forget your goal. Good luck:)
