  1. Do IPN's independent evaluators have conflicts of interest?

I'm a newbie RN to IPN 2018 as the previous time I never followed through with an eval. So far this time has been beyond a crappy experience. Had eval a few months back at BoardPrep in Tampa. Complete urine and nail tox results all came back negative. Peth came back positive and there is no way it is correct. I am an old timer 12 step hard core recovering addict and alcoholic with 15 years clean and sober. Board Prep collected my labs at the time of eval and their collection process was not per protocol to say the least. Could kick my own a*s for not bringing it up right away but I knew I'd was completely clean so didn't care. My thoughts at the time were just that they were way too lax in watching me. So I want to hear from other IPN nurses out there. Please share your experiences with me. I gotta post some more in here so I can earn the ability to PM. Thanks for reading and share your stories with me.

Can I vote more than once? Heck, it would be just about as ethical as the way this stuff is run.

That's the damn truth!!!!

I can't vote but just wanted to share my most recent Peth test experience. I had my blood drawn and right before she wiped the site with alcohol, and as she was drawing it she says to me, "I don't think I was supposed to clean your arm with alcohol". And I'm just looking at her like how would I know? So she draws my blood, puts it down, leaves the room and like 20 minutes later she apologizes and says the site needs to be clean with betadine. And I'm just like whatever draw it again, I don't care! So she cleans the site with betadine but she drew it in the same spot that was previously swabbed with alcohol, so I don't even know if it made a difference. Do I need to have a Ph D in chain of custody and Peth collection to ensure I don't have a false positive? So annoying!
