hi guys..im anjela, i'm a fresh graduate and i just passed the local board exam here in the philippines..i'm a newbie here..i have few questions about the nclex..i hope all of you can help me..i just like to ask if i still need to include the NURSING PROGRAM VERIFICATION form for the NCLEX application for California? tnx and God bless to all..

Hi and welcome to the site

I strongly suggest you check out and read the threads here on the International forum especially the stickies Primer to working in the US and California for initial licensure, would also suggest you read up on retrogression as you are affected and will take a few years to move to the US.

Remember you are not applying for NCLEX but for licensure to be a RN in the US of which NCLEX is part of the process.

Answers to this can be found by doing a search on this forum, the search engine here works just like Google or Yahoo, you just need to put in key words.

There is also a thread at the top of this forum for specifics as to why CA is not recommended for initial licensure, would recommend reading that as well. And have a look at the other threads about those that went for CA licensure, but have no SSN#, and therefore no license in the US.
