These are things that you should have investigated before you signed with them in the first place.

Have never heard a thing about them, and what do you actually know about them? Are they located in Manila or the US? And have they ever submitted a petition for you to begin the immigration process? Have you completed the required exams?

hi maam suzanne,

avant is U.S. based, specifically in florida. i'm in the process of reviewing to take NCLEX-RN. they'll be spending for my exam. the contract says that once i passed the NCLEX, the processing for immigration will start. i think that would be enough information. thanks. hope to get a raply from you.

Sorry, but I do hope that you have much more information than that before you signed a contract with them, such as rate of pay, length of orientation, where will you be placed? Hospital or nursing home..........

You will ultimately be the one paying for your exam and all other costs to the tune of more than $10,000 per year.......they are not paying for it, but will be taking it from your pay.

I do hope that you really took a good look at the contract that you signed as it is legally binding in most cases, such as what is the cancellation clause if you do not start the contract? cancel it in the middle?

What you have said about them paying for the NCLEX exam means absolutely nothing..........nothing at all, and I hope that you did not sign a contract for a frew years based on that.

And since this specifically deals with working in the US, then the thread belongs under the International Forum and is being moved to there.
