I am actually an ELM student at Touro. I started July of 07 and we are now finishing up 2nd semester....8 more months til our BSN! I like the school..but i want to warn you that is a TINY TINY school! We didnt get as much lecture time as we should have but all our teachers were very accomodating! They were helpful and their doors were always open if we needed to talk! 8000/semester is a lotta money...but if you're just trying to get your BSN and get on with life...i would recommend coming! Good luck!

Hi emptybee,
I'm thinking about applying for the ELM program at Touro for next year. Just wondering, when did you apply and how soon did you hear back from the school? Thanks! :)
You know you can still apply for this year right?! First semester doesn't start til July...and from what i heard...they are still conducting interviews and accepting apps! Anyway, I was a last minute admit last year. I turned my application in mid May...after finding out I didn't get into CSUF's ELM program. I got a phone call from the school early June. I was told to take my TEAS and was then invited for an interview mid June! I got accepted the day of my interview so the next day, I left my job, and a week later moved to Las Vegas from So Cal! And a week later...it was orientation! Everything happened so fast that if i could do it over...i would try to put my app in ASAP! Anyway, good luck! Hope you consider it...it's a bit expensive...but it goes by so fast!
The admissions person did tell me that they're still accepting applications, but I still have a few prereqs to complete. I was hoping that they have rolling admissions, so that if I apply later this year then I will hear back from them soon instead of having to wait until next spring or so. The tuition definitely isn't cheap, but I like the fact that the program is only seven semesters total. Thanks again for the info and good luck with your classes!
