Interview

Nursing Students ADN/BSN

Published

hi everyone!... An assistant recruiter from Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center called me this morning and wanted to set up an interview for the RN position I applied to. I recently graduated in 2010 with a BSN degree. I started working in nursing home/rehabilitation facility in the bronx in Sub - Acute Unit as an RN f0r 5 months. I resigned 2 months ago and currently looking for a job anywhere in the 5 boroughs of NY.

So, I asked the recruiter if I could just do a phone interview for now because I live in NY. She agreed and scheduled my phone interview on a Monday. I was just wondering if this is a good sign. She told me that they prefer personal interviews but if the Recruiter on Monday gives me consideration I should be able to come to maryland for a personal interview. Another problem is, I haven't started the process for endorsing my license to Maryland because I am not sure if I will get the job offer because if I spend and I dont get the offer, money is wasted. Economy now sucks thats why I don't want to just risk on anything.

PS I am currently studying for my ACLS...

Is the interview a good sign? Thanks so much!
