Hello, i have passed the entrance exam into the nursing program. Now i am to attend an interview, i have asked myself my and answered the questions of strengths and weaknesses, why i want to be a nurse and why i belong at this school. But what other questions could i prepare myself for?????

Of course they will all vary, but when I interviewed at CSULB, it wasn't what I was expecting at all. They had a group of us there, and they interviewed us more by having us do projects together showing how we communicated (one was describing a picture and trying to have our partner recreate it based on our description). It was more stuff like that. Yes, there was the whole, "Why do you want to be a nurse and what do you plan to do" thing as well, but not as much of that as I'd assumed there would be.

Think of some situational/ethical questions. I had one that was about witnessing a co-worker clock in for another co-worker - what do you do? If the program is small, consider a few teamwork type questions - how do you study best? Alone or in groups? Career questions - where do you see yourself in 5 years, 10 years, etc. Good luck!

Hello ,
Sometimes what you expect is not what you get at all. When I interviewed for my job I currently hold, it involved a lot of team building and how I interacted with people. People skills can not be questioned but have to be shown, I have seen some nurses that do not know how to comfort patients and that is vital to someones recovery.
