interview question not sure how to answer (hh)

I think that if it were me, I would say that I would contact the nursing supervisor and ask what is the protocol for these situations. But, then again, I really suck at interviews. That is my true weakness, when they ask what my weaknesses are, I almost want to say that. I have one tomorrow, and I am a nervous wreck already. So, what was your reply? I really hate when they ask questions, and I don't know how to answer. I want to say that I am a good worker, but a lousy interviewer. When they ask if you have any questions, I would like to ask them, would you hire somebody that does not interview well, but has other skills. lol

I don't do peds, but restraining is probably not what they wanted to hear. Perhaps using distraction techniques, such as "Oh I have a great game we could play, but you need to settle down, .....so on and so forth, blah, blah, blah".

But, who knows, I'm not that great with kids.....LOL

I said i didn't know, and i would make sure i found out before i started.lol of course everything depends on the situation. good luck in your interview. be confident and think about what your going to say, its ok to pause for a sec after they ask a question. let us know how it went:o
