Interview help

Hello,

I have just been asked to come in for an interview for a new grad postion for the OR - I am a PN, and the hospital is willing to train me as a scrub nurse - I would love to get this position, but I am worried about the interview. Can anyone help me with what type of questions they would ask etc.?

Any help is very appreciated!!:nurse:

Perhaps you can start off by checking out the job description for an OR scrub nurse.

I did a quick search and this is what I found, so I'm sure if you put some time into it, you can find some pretty good sites. Just read the job descriptions and rephrase the roles and responsibilities into questions. Once you get started doing this, I'm sure you will lead yourself to additional questions. Practice answering the questions aloud, as if you are practicing for a presentation. This way you will practice answering them extemperanously. When your interview comes, you will answer things naturally! Good luck with your interview, I hope you get the job

There are a lot of threads in the Operating Room nurses section, which have some of the more common interview questions posted by recent interviewees. Good Luck!
