Interview at case western

I had my interview yesterday morning at 910am. They said that this was the first day of interviews. Also, for every spot, they would interview 2-3 people. It was very informal. Lasted about 15 minutes. Asked why I wanted to be a CRNA, about my shadowing experience, why I should be chosen as a student, and what I do for relaxation. It was a panel of 8 or 9 people. I just was friendly and confident and they seemed like they liked me. Told it could be 2 wks or after january before I find out. I hope soon though :) Good luck.

Congrats on having the interview out of the way. Rumor has it that if they ask the kind of questions they asked you, that means you're in! I hope that holds true for you and I hope you find out soon!!!

So, I got my acceptance letter yesterday.....YAY! Hopefully all goes well for you and we are classmates next fall. Good Luck.

CONGRATS!!!!! That's incredible! I am so happy for you! I got a letter last Monday saying that the anesthesia dept will be calling to set up an interview....I hope they call soon....the suspense is killing me! Do you currently live in Ohio?? MY fingers and toes are super-crossed...I would love to be classmates!

This time is super anxiety producing! The waiting for the call is really tough.. then waiting to get a letter is so much worse, but it is all worth it! I would love to welcome you both next year!! Hang in there and take a deep breath!

Expensive!! $50,000 a year. All the info on cost is on their website.

I interview Dec. 6th!!! Any words of advice????

Just play it cool :) CONFIDENT! Try to hide your nervousness. They didn't ask me a single clinical question. Just wanted to know about my background (a little), the cases I observed, the CRNA's name I followed, what I did to relax, and why I would be good for the program. It only lasted 10 minutes or so. Get there early so you have time to park and find your way. You made it this far....You will be great!

Thanks for the tips! My interview is at 1055! I'll be so nervous I'll prob be there by 930, lol!! I hope that I will have good getting in news to report to you by mid-decemeber.....I guess time will tell! Thanks again!

I am very interested in applying to case next year. I have researched deeply into the stipend provided for a 2 year contract after graduation. Do you know how much the Cleveland Clinic starts their CRNA's at for the 2 years? That is the only information I am not able to obtain. I would just like to have all of my information straight before I invest so much money into another degree. I would post this on the forum, but a bunch of people will get on their soap box and give me their two cents about money, which I'm not looking for. Hope you can help, Thanks.
