Interventions

I am looking to buy a book of interventions on various things such as, SOB, Chest pain and other fairly frequentstuff we run into...any ideas? Much appreciated...

You would do well to get a good careplanning book, actually. They have broken down, by problem each and every nursing intervention for your consideration. Doenges writes a good one. Good luck!

I agree with the care planning book idea. Care plan books usually identify common problems, symptoms, plans of action/internvetion, and rationale. Nursing really is just one big care plan-> those annoying care plans you do in school just help to guide your thinking, identify issues, plan for interventions and recognize rationale...as annoying as they are they do pay off in the end...
