Inspired to be an Periop RN

Hello Everyone

I have been a Cardiology RN for over 2yrs and was given an opportunity to observe an TAVR and MVR in the OR....it was an amazing experience to be up close and watch the team perform this important surgery. I currently work at a huge medical center in the tri-state area that is constantly expanding.... I had the chance to attend a Periop Function which I learned so much and spoke with a few nurses who liked my enthusiasm for the profession and encourage me to sign up for the next Periop Class.... which I am definitely going to do......

I want to ask if anyone knows of a good surgical instrument book with a CD or even an App on the go.. or both..... that will give me a basic idea and familiarize myself with the surgical instruments and what the uses are for????? I would appreciate it very much.... my hospital will probably start another class late summer or early fall.... so I want to be proactive in my learning process.....

There are a few options on Amazon. I've never personally used any books, but here's a list of what comes up when searching surgical instruments- the reviews may be able to help guide you.
