I am an international trained nurse from the Philippines and a canadian citizen. i applied for nclex in california but was required to have my SSN before i will be allowed to write the exam. Also i have a job offer from an employer, will this be sufficient for me to get a temporary SSN or conditional SSN for me to write my nclex?

No it will not. You need proof of either immigrant or work visa
ohhh.. i read in one of the blogs that i may be able to get a conditional SSN but wont be issued a license until i can get a work visa. anyways thank you for the feedback.

There is no such thing as a conditional SSN

Make sure the employement offer is valid. I suspect only a sketchy employer would offer a job to an IEN who may or my not be eligible for a license in California.
