It was just a screening with a recruiter. She didn’t really ask any questions, just went over my application 

Hello. Sorry if this is late. Just wondering what hospital and unit you applied to and if you like it there. Just got screened by a recruiter and have an interview next week for the New Grad Fellow position at Alexandria Hospital. Thanks for starting this thread!

I haven’t started yet. I just had my interview for a NICU position on Wednesday for the fairfax location!

The recruitment process has been long! I applied and interviewed with a recruiter back in October and never heard back.... I emailed for a update and she was very rude about it... now it’s January and I’m just now hearing back about a position... I had to do another recruiter interview and she called me 30 mins late... my interview with the actual unit managers was good.., they were very nice

My recruiter was a no show twice for a phone interview and canceled my interview for one of the Fellowships a few hours before I was supposed to have it because she filled the position. Hopefully, Fairfax comes through. 

I'm happy you at least got the interview, that's the most important thing!

I would love any tips! I just applied to the fellow position for may graduates & hoping to get into the NICU! 

I was wondering how long after you put in your application the recruiter contacted you?  I am a May grad and they have a generic new grad fellow posting and then specific ones. I put in a few apps but haven't heard anything, but it's pretty early for May grad jobs.

For some of the fellow positions I applied to, I got a call from a recruiter no more than a week or two after applying.

@gailRN2B I applied for that as well and got an email today!
