Could someone direct me to a site where I could read the step by step procedure for infusing antibiotics through a PICC?

I am looking for the procedure for a homecare patient, from step one (i.e. gather equipment, wash hands, etc.)

IV companies who provide supplies and antibiotics for homecare patients use different delivery systems. Your best source would be to call the IV company that is supplying the patient. Gathering equipment and washing hands are a given for any procedure. Don't be embarrassed to ask for help if you need it. I've hooked up many antibiotics to PICC's in the hospital but when starting home health I was stumped as to how the delivery systems worked. I asked for help. They're actually very easy to use.
