***?! Inexperienced CNAs!

Why are uncertified, unlicensed, inexperienced people getting the CNA positions I SHOULD BE GETTING??????

I really don't understand why I have been searching for a CNA position since APRIL, and still have diddly-squat to show for it? Come on HR, THINK!

some places don't require applicants to be certified because they provide on the job training.

If you know that certain employers are hiring uncertified workers or anything else about who is doing the hiring, then you should apply to these places also. Follow up if you get rejected or don't hear from them. Politely ask what you could do to improve your chances. Hope things turn around for you and you get hired soon.

Where do you live? I should move there! Over in my area, there are plenty of jobs for CNAs...if you have 3-5 years experience. How do you know they are hiring unexperienced people specifically, have you talked to those recently hired? If it happens a lot, I bet it is relatives/close friends they are hiring or people they're attracted to. A lot of good jobs go wasted on people who don't deserve them just because they know the right people. It digusts me too, that is why I lost my first job.
