INDIAN NURSE

I am a nurse trained in India. Actually i am going US in a family based immigrant visa. I like to apply for Nclex RN exam in CA, USA. Should i apply in college for transcript, one they directly need to be sent to the board. should i apply for it before i go to US.

You can not start the process for CA util in the US with a valid US SSN and if they receive your transcripts before your application they may discard your transcripts. Better to check with the BRN

In Texas board do i need Cgfns exam before NCLEx?:cautious:

If you plan on living and working in Texas then better to start with them as usually when trained outside the US you still have to meet requirements as if a new applicant

The NCLEX-RN exam is the same test whether you take in any of the US 50 States or any approved overseas testing center or on the Moon, it doesn't matter. As stated, there's nothing gain by applying into CA or any possible "easy, fast, cheaper" state (say, NY), if you plan to work in TX, simply apply there and meet their requirements. Getting any out of state license and trying to endorse it into our most desired state, you're going to have to start over again with that desired states (TX) requirements anyways.

Unless you feel like paying double application fees (CA and TX) and still need to meet all of TX's required documentation anyways not to mention the waste of time endorsing from CA to TX.
