Can somebody explain this to me in regards to IV and foley) or does anyone have a link that explains how this work?

EX: Dw5 + 0.45 nacl 1000 started @ 11h00

I come on and I see 460 left to be infused.

When it's time for me to leave their is 160 left to be infused.

what am I surposed to write on the In and Out sheet??

you record the amount of iv fluid that was infused into the patient during your shift. that would be:
460cc - 160c =
300cc
(iv intake)
